Patient wellness is our top priority and we are pleased to be able to provide Virtual Ergonomic Assessments to continue care at home. As many of you have had to adjust to working from home, it is more important than ever to ensure proper workstation setup. Ergonomics and workstation setup is a topic frequently discussed in our office, as it is a key component to keep recurring neck and back pain under control. 

Virtual Ergonomic Assessments

Our virtual ergonomic assessment will be offered at a discounted rate of $125, down from our onsite assessment rate of $175-250. You do not need to have any pre-existing painful conditions in order to benefit from the virtual assessment, as identifying risk factors is crucial in keeping you pain-free. Dr. Jacobs is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS), with over 2,000 ergonomic assessments completed at numerous Bay Area companies in his 10+ years in practice. 

The Virtual Ergonomic Assessment will include:

1. Pre-evaluation questionnaire
2. Live Tele-med Ergonomic Assessment of your work station
3. Workstation adjustments and recommendations
4. Customized exercises and stretches 
5. Recommended equipment if necessary
6. Personal report to summarize all recommendations and changes made

In addition, we are also offering Virtual Consultations:

For many of us affected by shelter-in-place orders, making it into the office for treatment is difficult. To maintain and achieve improved spinal health through these hard times, we will offer virtual consultations for $100.

The Virtual Consultation will include:

1. Your Health History
2. Working diagnosis for musculoskeletal conditions
3. Answer health related questions
4. Provide exercise and stretch recommendations and demonstrations
