Dr. Tracy Yu is a San Francisco native with a passion for helping others achieve optimal health through chiropractic care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, before transitioning to chiropractic care. Originally studying to be a physical therapist, Dr. Yu’s path shifted after working as a chiropractic assistant at SF Custom Chiropractic, where she witnessed firsthand the transformative power of chiropractic care. Her decision to pursue chiropractic was also influenced by her own personal experiences with numerous injuries from playing basketball, and a longstanding desire to work in healthcare.

Dr. Yu pursued her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences, and after graduating, returned to SF Custom Chiropractic to complete an internship. She now practices full-time, providing holistic care that combines spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy like Active Release Technique, and rehabilitation to enhance nervous system function and restore balance.

Focused on both immediate pain relief and long-term wellness, Dr. Yu creates customized care plans that prioritize patient education, injury prevention, and movement optimization. Her mission is to empower patients to maintain their health, prevent injuries, and lead active, confident lives.

Outside the office, Dr. Yu enjoys traveling, weightlifting, hiking, basketball (often playing in local tournaments across the Bay Area), sneakers, photography, and exploring local coffee shops. She’s also an avid fan of the SF Giants, 49ers, and Golden State Warriors.
