Daniel Axelrod

Dr. Dan Axelrod is a dual-licensed Doctor of Chiropractic and Licensed Acupuncturist who blends an evidence-based chiropractic approach with the holistic principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat both the body and mind.

He is full body certified in Active Release Techniques (ART), Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR), and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS). In 2022, Dr. Axelrod was selected by Active Release Techniques to join the treatment team at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

Dr. Axelrod ran his own private practice in New York, where he worked with a broad spectrum of patients, including professional hockey players, lacrosse players, triathletes, boxers, mixed martial artists, and IFBB pros. He also served as an on-site contractor for Netflix film sets, providing care to the cast of the productions.

Dr. Axelrod’s commitment to integrative care is deeply personal. As a competitive tennis player, boxer, and avid hiker he has faced his own share of injuries and understands the physical and mental challenges of recovery. Acupuncture and chiropractic have been essential tools in his own healing journey, and in shaping the way he practices today. Whether working with elite athletes or everyday movers, Dr. Axelrod delivers care that is rooted in experience, tradition, and a genuine passion for helping people feel their best.
